Intabwe History

Intambwe is the newspaper of the Rwanda Scouts Association and has been in existence for over 40 years.

Published several times a year, it talks about news in Scouting, but also about news in Rwanda and around the world.

The newspaper shares the knowledge and skills of Scouts, talks about past events and informs about upcoming events. In some copies, there are also games and stories.

First version dated March 1982

Intambwe means “the step”, it’s the idea of moving forward, evolving, progressing
